Recovery Mode adalah menu sistem di android yang berfungsi untuk memulihkan kembali perangkat yang mengalami masalah atau merubah sistem bawaan pabrik. Cara mengakses recovery mode ini bisa dilakukan dengan berbagai cara sesuai dengan tipe jenis ponsel android yang dipakai. Dengan menekan kombinasi tombol di perangkat android, maka tidak susah untuk masuk ke recovery mode. Tombol yang umum dipakai untuk mengakses recovery mode adalah kombinasi tombol Volume, Home dan Power.

Di menu recovery mode ini ada beberapa opsi yang bisa Anda pilih terutama untuk Anda yang androidnya mengalami beberapa masalah seperti bootlop, terkunci dan lupa pola kunci atau password, update firmware, install aplikasi dari eksternal memori, dan masih banyak lagi.

Fungsi fitur di menu recovery mode secara umum antara lain:

Reboot system now : Untuk merestart perangkat android.
Apply update from sdcard : Untuk memilih file dengan ekstension .zip di dalam SD Card/ memori eksternal
Wipe data/factory reset : Untuk reset data android.
Wipe cache partition : Untuk membersihkan cache/ file sampah.
